Abstract

The article briefly summarises the fourteenth seminar on Latvian ancient writings "Latvian Writings and Writings in the Baltics in the 16th-19th Centuries - Research Topics and Problems", which took place on 12 January 2024 at the National Library of Latvia in Riga. Linguists and literary scholars from Latvian, Lithuanian and Swedish universities and research institutions took part in the seminar. 13 papers were read on the history and language problems of various Latvian, Lithuanian, Latin, Greek and Middle High German sources of the 16th-20th centuries.
