Abstract

The article briefly summarises the international scientific conference dedicated to Jānis Endzelin's 150th birthday, which took place in Riga on 22-23 February 2023. Linguists from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Ukraine took part. Several papers focused on the contribution of Janis Endzelin to the study of the Latvian language. Other papers dealt with current research problems in grammar, onomastics, dialectology and some other areas of Baltic linguistics.
