Annual Arturs Ozols Day Conference at the Faculty of Humanities

The article briefly summarises the international Arturs Ozols Day conference dedicated to the commemoration of Jānis Endzelīns' 150th birthday, which took place at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia on 16-17 March 2023. Linguists from Latvia, Lithuania and Japan participated in the conference. The papers focused on the contribution of Jānis Endzelīns to Latvian linguistics, in particular the history of the creation and expansion of his grammar "Lettische Grammatik" (1922, 1923). Other papers were devoted to topical problems of Baltic grammar, word-building, dialectology, terminology, history of language and several other areas of linguistics.
